James T. McBratney, Jr. ("Tam") graduated from the Citadel, Military
College of the South in 1970. After enlisting in the United States
Army as a Commissioned Officer, Tam attended the University of South
Carolina Law School. Following graduation from law school in 1973, Tam
moved back to his home town of Florence to build a law practice.
Almost 37 years later, Tam continues to practice in Florence where he
has built a reputation as a skilled Criminal Defense Lawyer.
James McBratney has specialized experience in State and Federal criminal defense, with an emphasis in Federal Drug cases.
In his spare time, Tam enjoys fishing on the rivers of South Carolina.
